Umschreibung – the Best Rewriting You Have Ever Seen in Germany

Umschreibung, Munich, Germany. The winding staircase was erected in 2004 by Olafur Eliasson – a Danish-Icelandic artist, who is known for his sculptures and installation art. The title means „transcription“ or „rewriting“.

Umschreibung is located in the patio of the global accounting firm KPMG. It is 9 m (30 ft) tall, made of steel and slightly reminds the Möbius strip. It is a real treat for the photographers, who manage to get in and get a glimpse of this creation.
