Tropical Islands Resort, Berlin, Germany. Known as the Aerium, a former Soviet airfield has recently been transformed to a much more entertaining mission. Eleven years ago the Tropical Island resort chain has opened a huge water park next to the vibrant capital. It sits in the Spreewald – a popular local recreation site, an unspoiled reserve, protected by UNESCO.
The park is open 24 hours a day and provides the widest range of activities for the whole family. From white sandy beaches, palm groves, waterfalls and tropical rainforests, to swirling waterslides, salsa lessons, acrobatic performances and even Shopping Boulevard – there is enough space for everything! Visitors can be accommodated in rooms, lodges or chose to stay in a tent inside. This is one of the most exciting summer destinations this year!
Why to go there?
The park provides numerous water activities and facilities necessary for a longer stay. Also the area and its surroundings are no less exciting.
