Taroko National Park, Taiwan. Taroko means beautiful and it definitely can be said about the park. The site attracts adventurous visitors, who are willing to discover the amazing nature of Taiwan. Tourists can choose many hikes, that will lead them to the Taroko Gorge, impressive waterfalls and panoramic views.
The Liwu River has carved its way through marble and created Taroko Gorge. Besides marble, jade is also found in the park. The serene mountains might be deceptive: the rocks are still moving and the powerful stream of the river and waterfalls explain the big appreciation for the nature Taiwanese have. Because here it is indeed glorious.

Amazing place to explore the nature in Taiwan, which is really impressive: Taroko Gorge is a 19 km long marble canyon, Baiyang trail leads through the rocky tunnels with streaming water and jungle trails are wild and exciting.
When to go there?
The climate is warm all year round. The raining season takes place from March to May.
How to get there?
Flights and trains from Taipei to Hualien are available. Buses from Hualien go frequently to the park.
