The African Great Lake Malawi Sprawling Over Three Countries

Lake Malawi, Malawi, Tanzania, Mozambique. One of the African Great Lakes sprawls among three borders and is huge – 580 km long and 75 km wide. The water is warm and usually reaches the temperature of 24°-29° C (75°-84° F). Along with the soft golden sandy beaches it makes a perfect bathing spot.

Obviously this is one of the main and most popular attractions in the area. Water sports and activities offered include snorkeling, diving, boat riding, sailing, water skiing and even camping. Boat trips to the islands also provide a romantic day out. A lot of fishing villages are found around the lake that also supply the lodges, that accommodate the vacationers, with fresh fish. A wonderful natural site for recreation!
