Honeymoon and Caladesi Islands, Florida, USA. The state is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the US. Meanwhile the two neighboring islands boast an incredible beaches, with crystal clear water and a striking blend of colors. Although there are no hotels, because it is designated as a park, it makes a good destination for the day trippers.
Besides the vacationers, the islands are home for hundreds of endangered species of both – fauna and flora. In the 16th century it was part of the trade center, where pirates would trade their loot. In the 20th century it was advertised as a new exciting location to spend the honeymoon. However, today it is a favorite holiday spot for everyone – not only the newlyweds!

The islands are part of the State Park, which preserves various species as well as natural environment. But there is a number of facilities, including kayaks, boats, restaurants and cafes, that make holiday comfortable and relaxing.

Get to Honeymoon by car from Causeway Boulevard, which can be accessed via Curlew Road. Reach Caladesi Island by ferry from Honeymoon.
