Jigokudani Wild Monkey Park, Nagano, Japan. The Japanese macaques are adorable apes, who among many unusual habits, that include rolling snowballs and developing an accent, love to bath in the hot springs. Fortunately, there are hot springs resorts for humans too in Japan.
It can become quite cold during winter in Japan and the macaques spend a lot of time warming themselves in the natural pools. They bath in groups, are not afraid of people and seem to enjoy the experience a lot.
Why to go there?
To see these adorable animals doing something so human. The park is the best place to observe them, because here they are used to people.
When to go there?
